Education

IRPAL views education as one of the main development pillars in the Palestinian territories.

Most schools in the Palestinian territories are overcrowded and many are unable to offer children a safe and healthy educational environment. These challenges are especially noticeable in disadvantaged communities and in peripheral and marginalized areas.

IPRAL has invested heavily in the development of this vital sector, be it through improving access to education, through rehabilitation of schools and enhancement of the educational environment, or through designing and implementing capacity-building programs for teachers.

By rehabilitating worn out school infrastructure, equipping teachers with new skills and working to improve the educational environment for tens of thousands of Palestinian students, IRPAL was able to increase student attendance and motivation levels.
