Islamic Relief spreads Joy among Poor Families in the Gaza Strip<\/h4>\n

In a small- deteriorated house in the middle area of Gaza city, Nariman Al- Qayed lives with her six children. She spends her time thinking about ways to provide the basic needs of her poor family. Nariman and her family are living in difficult economic circumstances which prevent them from achieving their hopes, desires, and needs.<\/p>\n

Nariman is the only breadwinner for her family since her husband suffers from various diseases which make him unable to work. Nariman also suffers from fracture in her leg which also stands as an obstacle that prevents her from working.<\/p>\n

Nariman says\u201d Our living condition is extremely difficult; I feel despair when one of my children asks me to bring food or cloths but in vain\u201d.<\/p>\n

She continues\u201d We do not have enough amount of food because sometimes I sell some to pay the rent of my house\u201d.<\/p>\n

Desperately, she says\u201d Time is passing slowly; I wish to live in happiness but our misery and pain makes it impossible\u201d.<\/p>\n

Providing food and refrigerator for the house was Nariman\u2019s desire for several months. She illustrates\u201d When one of my children asks me to bring specific sort of food, I cannot because we do not have a refrigerator to save food\u201d.<\/p>\n

Happiness and hope filled Nariman and her children\u2019s\u2019 life when Islamic Relief provided them with their basic needs through Social Safety Net Project which was implemented by Islamic Relief.<\/p>\n

Joyfully, Nariman says\u201d I have never imagined to see the happiness in the eye of my children; they are able to eat healthy food now\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIslamic Relief provides us with voucher purchase to bring food such as eggs, milk, rice, cheese, and jam\u201d, Nariman points out.<\/p>\n

She adds\u201d I thought that Islamic Relief will only provide food for us but I was surprised to find that they brought an oven, a refrigerator, and a laundry \u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did not touch the beauty of life, but Alhamdulillah Islamic Relief provided me with the needed things. Now, my children feel that they are equal with their friend in the school after possessing different devices. They are now enjoying a better life\u201d.<\/p>\n

My daughter, Aseel, happily comments\u201d I\u2019m extremely happy because now we have an oven and a refrigerator. I started to love staying at home\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIslamic Relief helped me to achieve many desires of my children and I wish them to help us by providing a new house to live in\u201d.<\/p>\n

She concludes\u201d I thank all financiers of Islamic relief for their help. I ask them to continue their help to spread happiness among poor families in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Nariman Al- Qayed family is one of thousands Palestinian families that lacks most basic necessities of life due to difficult economic situation in the Gaza Strip since years. Islamic Relief through Social Safety Net Project is trying to provide a decent life for a number of poor families by providing key supplies for them in various social, healthy, educational sectors and others.<\/p>\n
