Islamic Relief Palestine held a conference entitled “The importance of improving\u00a0 quality of education in kindergartens” Thursday 27\/10\/2016 with broad participation from the Ministry of Education and a group of international institutions and civil society organizations working in child’s education and researchers interested in the field of education in kindergartens in the Gaza Strip<\/p>\n
Mr. Mohamed Muharram, Head of Preparatory Committee for the Conference welcomed the attendees and their valuable participations in papers ,practical insights and experiences of researchers emphasizing the importance of improving quality of education in KGs stage.<\/p>\n
Eng. Muneeb Abu Ghazaleh, Director of Islamic Relief Palestine Office emphasized the importance of intensive efforts to upgrade the Palestinian human beings and attention to the various stages of education in Palestine saying that \u201cIslamic Relief supports a developmental approach that counts on building and strengthening the capacities of Palestinian youth, which essentially starts very early at childhood age\u201d Mr. Abu Ghazaleh added \u201cIslamic Relief made constant efforts over the year in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and relevant institutions in order to unify the educational national curriculum framework for kindergarten through the design of the unified curriculum, “stressing that” we still have a lot of hard work in order to improve the quality of education in kindergartens in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mohammed Siam Public Education director in the Ministry of Education that “kindergarten is one of the most vital stages in human life, it used to have number of obstacles in kindergartens including lack of resources and capabilities and the absence of a unified curriculum for kindergartens, we have worked to get rid of this obstacle and we were able to accomplish the document of national curriculum pre -school framework and prepare a unified Palestinian curriculum for kindergarten was introduced in Kindergartens at the beginning of the academic year 2016-2017. ”<\/p>\n
Mrs. Maha Barzaq, Project Coordinator made a presentation titled Islamic Relief model in improving the quality of education. It displayed detailed components of the project which is funded by Islamic Relief Germany and achievements in all programs of the project, which included the preparation of a unified curriculum, Tomorrow\u2019s Kindergarten, Child Health, Effective Supervision, and Kindergarten and Community . She stressed that this conference culminates radical changes left a landmark and set a new reality in kindergartens.<\/p>\n
The conference included an opening session and two practical sessions The first meeting axes were on innovations with regard to child-education and kindergartens while the second session was about focusing on the aspects of the educational process and activate the advanced educational methods.<\/p>\n\n \n
