Islamic Relief-Palestine work despite of Corona pandemic

Islamic Relief Palestine has implemented a series of Ramadan projects and activities for the year 2020 in various governorates of the Gaza Strip, despite of Corona pandemic during the holy month of Ramadan.

Islamic Relief Palestine has taken into consideration a set of preventive measures necessary for the safety of employees and beneficiaries due to the Corona virus.

Ramadan project is one of the most important seasonal humanitarian projects implemented by Islamic Relief. Purchasing vouchers and Ramadan parcels have been distributed this year to more than 9,000 beneficiaries of different governorates of the Gaza Strip.  Eng. Tariq Rayan, Project Coordinator, says: “Thanks Allah, despite of Corona virus, we in Islamic Relief have continued to work to provide the food supplies to the most vulnerable families in the Gaza Strip that they need in the blessed month of Ramadan.”

Islamic Relief also distributed food meals to families in quarantine centers, and is currently working on providing three meals per day to oncology patients residing inside the hospital. Meantime, more than 5,000 children, who are sponsored by Islamic Relief, received Eid clothes, within a project funded by Islamic Relief offices in Britain and Germany.
