40 pilot Kindergartens receive new curriculum packages

Islamic Relief Palestine ends the distribution of the new curriculum packages for 40 pilot kindergartens in Gaza strip. This achievement is part of a project which aims to improving the preschool education access and quality, funded by the Islamic Relief Germany and implemented by Islamic Relief Palestine.

Razan is a teacher at one of the 40 pilot kindergartens expressed her happiness to receive the teacher guide and CD She said: “it was a dream to have unified curriculum at all KGs  …it’s a real national achievement “. Students were also very cheerful. When students received the books they expressed happiness and pleasure .Everyone was flipping the books checking pictures and colors and attracted by the different themes.

Many thankful expressions addressed to the Islamic Relief because of the achievements related to improving preschool education access and quality project. Especially the new curriculum disseminated at all KGs around Gaza strip.

One of the latest achievements of the project was the distribution of all books and guides to all 40   pilot KGs around Gaza strip. This could not be achieved, in such limited time, unless the dedecation of all involved parties who worked hard to keep up with the start of the scholastic year 2016-2017.

The project group is working on the Effective Supervision Guide that integrates all the steps already achieved which is the basis to mentor and evaluate steps leading to model lessons through the application of new curriculum in all 40 pilot KGs
