Islamic Relief Palestine- IRPAL launched a series of environmental summer camps entitled “Innovation..Leadership..Towards a Sustainable Environment” for its sponsored children and other school students. The camp started with the participation of approximately 1200 children from different governorates of the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Muneeb Abu Ghazaleh, Country Director at IRPAL stated, “Islamic Relief has just started implementing a number of environmental summer camps to assert that the right to entertain and learn is the right of all children.”

He added, “it is through our various summer activities, we seek to enhance positive behaviour among children which will reinforce their surrounding environment and then push them to protect it. Additionally, the camps develops children’s skills, encourage them to be leaders and innovators, select their vocational majors, and enable them to figure out and understand their future tracks.”

It is worth noting that the activities executed during the camps vary from environmental summer camps, scientific activities, and summer vocational days.
