Over 123.000 Palestinians received Qurbani meat

Islamic Relief Palestine distributed Qurbani meat to more than 123.000 Palestinians on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Distribution targeted the most poor families and low-income earners in all areas of the Palestinian Territories / Gaza Strip.

The distribution was done in cooperation with local Community Based organizations (CBOs) which reached families directly where they live.

The process for selecting the benefiting families has taken into consideration such criteria as poverty levels and the number of family members. Islamic Relief was especially careful to lend a helping hand to female-headed households, families living in remote and marginalized areas.
