Islamic Relief Palestine continues to meet urgent water needs.

Islamic Relief swiftly responded to an urgent drinking water problem. The problem occurred in one of the central RO- plants in eastern Gaza that serves more than 35000 students daily and is under supervision of Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The technical team of IRPAL quickly moved to the place to identify the problem and to do the needed repair works. The pump of the main well which feeds the central RO- plant was repaired.  On the other hand, IRPAL provided MoEHE with 8 “PH-Monitor” which measure the salinity level of water.

MoEHE Expressed gratitude for the prompt response of IRPAL.

“We informed the mangers of schools that we could not providing drinking water for the few coming days, it could have been a dilemma without the prompt response of IRPAL” said Mr. Mazen Al-Batniji, Head of the School Health Unit at MoEHE
