To detect gifted children

Islamic Relief Palestine conducted a training on using materials and tools for detecting talented children according to scientific methodology and international standards.

The training is a part of  Empowering Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC ) for a better future in the Gaza Strip through Integrated Care and Social Development project activities, and targeted staffs of the project’s educational centers.

Bahaa Karayem, the Project’s Coordinator syas: this training is unique because it ensures practical training based on multiple scientific standards.

For this purpose, Islamic Relief prepared a comprehensive toolkit using various mechanisms such as intelligence, creativity, personality, trends and tendencies. This is a pioneering experiment for detection of talented people in Palestine, he added.

The project is implemented by Islamic Relief with the support of Islamic Relief Canada.
