Ramadan 2019 with Islamic Relief Palestine

Islamic Relief- Palestine has implemented a series of seasonal activities and projects in the different governorates of Gaza Strip during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Since the early days of Ramadan, the Islamic Relief team has been working on implementing the Ramadan 2019 project for the poorest families in the Gaza Strip. The project has targeted more than 7300 of the most deserving families from the different governorates.

The Ramadan 2019 project was implemented in partnership with community based organizations where Islamic Relief prepared food parcels and distributed the vouchers to beneficiaries in a way that allows them to choose and purchase the basic foodstuffs from their families.

Thanks to a generous funding by Islamic Relief Netherlands, the Islamic Relief Palestine gathered more than 90 of the orphans’ families to break their fast in a joyous celebration. The event also included implementing recreational activities and distribution of gifts to participated children.

In addition to that; Islamic Relief distributed Eid clothes to 7,200 of the orphaned children who are sponsored by Islamic Relief. This project contributed to alleviating the financial burden placed on the orphaned families and bringing happiness to the children’s hearts in the Eid.
