Health campaign for kindergarten children in the Gaza Strip
Islamic Relief Palestine concluded the health campaign carried out within the project “Improving Accesses and quality of Education in 40 kindergartens in the Gaza Strip”.
The campaign included medical examination for kindergarten children in terms of public health, vision and hearing, in order to provide care for children in general, including the commitment to implement effective policies and procedures for protection and care of children. Children also received kits equipped with health and hygiene items to urge them follow good health behaviors.
The campaign also conducted workshops at kindergartens to spread health awareness among children about topics related good behaviors and healthy habits, hygiene and proper nutrition, security and safety. The project also conducted workshops to raise parents’ awareness about the growth characteristics of children, good healthy habits, prevention of health problems, balanced nutrition and security and safety.
