Islamic Relief – Palestine has completed a qualitative training in the field of solar energy within the project “Improving the employment opportunities of youth through the development of the TVET system according to the trends of the labor market”. The training was part of the community development program which targeted solar energy trainers from various TVET institutions and centers in addition to professional colleges in the Gaza Strip.

The training included theoretical concepts and practical methods in the use and installation of solar energy systems. It, also, involved a field visit to the laboratories building of the Islamic University, which is working with the solar system. The training aimed at developing the skills and capacities of trainers, so they will be able to provide high quality training for students of these institutions in the installation and use of solar energy.
