Islamic Relief announced the opening of two centers for the fostering of the talents of children and young people in Gaza and middle governorates within the project of Empowering Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) for a better future which is supported by Islamic Relief Canada. Islamic Relief launched the two centers with the name “Rosol” during a ceremony held in the presence of a number of partner institutions and other interested institutions in the area of childhood. Mr. Muneeb Abu Ghazaleh, Director of the Islamic Relief- Palestine office, said: “We, at Islamic Relief, are pleased to share with you these distinguished moments in which we announce the opening of Rosol Centers after a year of intensive efforts”.

“We are proud to share the local institutions and work together to discover distinguished talents in our children, and we have to work together in the forthcoming period to improve their talents for better future,” he stressed

“Through the implementation of the project with our partners, Al-Amal institution for Orphans in Gaza Governorate and the Networking Forum of the Central Governorate, we aim to and reinforcement of positive behavior and opportunities for a better future for the most vulnerable children and orphans aged 9 to 15 years.” As the project coordinator explained

While M. Alaa Al-Shurafa emphasized, on behalf of the project partners, all efforts are undertaken to sustain the work of the centers and provide better services for children and center attendees.

 

The ceremony included the presentation of models of children’s talents, which will be developed within the various centers of music, arts and scientific experiments.

Each center will have various clubs, including the Multimedia center, the Science and Technology Club, the Arts Club, the Media and networking Club, and the Psychological Counseling and Sports Unit.
