IRPAL Concludes Environment Initiative

IRPAL concluded “Balash Al A’ard” initiative launched on last Tuesday 9/7/2019 within the project of “Supporting the Solid Waste Collection Services in the Gaza Strip in partnership with the JSC for solid waste management in Gaza and North governorates.

The initiative aimed at correcting the wrong environmental practices and reinforcing the correct ones in regards of keeping the environment clean and managing the solid waste. It included a series of activities lasted for 3 days respectively; the main of which were cleaning, planting, painting the curb stones, and installing litter bins in the targeted area.

IRPAL head of Mission, Eng. Muneeb Abu Ghazala, stressed on the importance of environmental initiatives in preserving the environment and promoting the correct environmental behavior in the closing ceremony.
